   This book contains 365 activities for six to ten year olds using things found around the home. It shows parents and caregivers how to prevent boredom during bad weather with games, kitchen activities and arts and crafts projects. It will help stimulate a child´s natural curiosity with entertaining math, reading, writing, science, geography and fine arts activities. Fun outdoor things to do will encourage a child´s physical growth while emotion growth is fostered with fun family-centred and social activities. Holidays and other occasions can be celebrated with special projects. There are even car games included for long trips. The Children´s BUSY BOOK is written with warmth and sprinkled with humour and insight and should be required reading for anyone raising, caring for or teaching school-age children.
